Morgood Tools was founded in when 3 men from Cleveland Ohio merged their talents with tool makers in Rochester, NY with the purpose of making the finest form tools and cams for single spindle screw machines. Circulars and Dovetails eventually grew into step drills and counterbores, and broaches and milling cutters soon followed. In the 70's carbide tooling was added to our offerings, and Morgood quickly gained a reputation for the finest carbide endcutting specials in the industry.

Over the years we've remained focused on custom cutting tools of all varieties while also adding the ability to manufacture special gages, fixtures, and collets, as well as perform production grinding and prototype machining. By working with local partners, we offer plasma spray coating, workholding assemblies, and tool coatings along with your special tooling needs.
