You need both items for future installations, say after your computer crashes and you have re-installed windows. The Product key is only kept in the account for 5 years! Although the program expired long ago, this site still provides you access to the product key you were issued and the online download you originally used. Was this reply helpful?
Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I had to restore my computer to it's original settings but cannot seem to reinstall Microsoft Office - I still have my PIN and Product Key information - how do I reinstall this on my computer? Recently I have been unable to open Word and Excel documennts attached to emails. I read I could get over this problem by uninstalling and reinstalling Office Starter I have deleted Office Starter and would like to reinstall it.
How do I do this now? Many thanks. Many thanks for your suggestion. However I am using Windows 10 Home 64 bit. Your link says it only works with 32 bit.
Do you have any other suggestions? I don't have much computer knowledge. I tried downloading Office Starter but I keep getting the message to check my internet. My intenet is fine. Any suggestions please? Hello, Thank you for posting in this thread. Unfortunately based on when the last response was made, I have closed this thread to help keep comments current and up to date. Can anyone please help me? If so, can you please explain in very simple terms. I'm really not techie at all! I think we have come full circle One other thing to consider is the fact that Starter's programs are not full-function Word and Excel, so if these not-quite-full-function programs are adequate for your needs, then perhaps the free Office Web Apps would also be adequate for your needs.
Try the Office Web Apps , and if they do what you need to do, you can just abandon Starter. Of course, there's always the nuclear option ;- the Dell destructive recovery.
Before doing that of course back up your data, and of course do the research on the Dell site they have a user-to-user forum there too to make sure the recovery will indeed put Starter back onto the computer. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback.
